Robin Hutton has spent her adult life working in major event productions and the motion picture business. She was the writing and producing partner of Tom Laughlin (the legend of Billy Jack fame) for over thirty years until his death in 2013.

Currently she is president of Angels Without Wings, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that spearheaded the development and dedication of THREE national memorials to Sgt. Reckless, the famous Korean War horse whose heroics were so incredible she is listed in Life Magazine as one of our all time greatest heroes. The 1st monument was dedicated at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in 2013, a second monument in October 2016 at Camp Pendleton, where Reckless lived out her days and is buried; and a third was dedicated earlier this year in May at the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, KY. Plans are in the works to take Reckless back to South Korea.

The heroes in this book have inspired a new project in the Washington, DC area – the International War Animals Museum – a permanent museum to commemorate these war animals who fought side-by-side with our military war heroes.
