Memorial View Park & Walking Trail
The Story Path is installed at the Memorial Hospital Walking Path in partnership with Memorial Health Foundation. Picture book pages are displayed along the path, with the story changing periodically. The current book is The Library Book by Tom Chapin.
The Friends of the Abilene Library have also sponsored a Little Free Library at the walking trail for community members of all ages to exchange books.
