Watercolor Bookmarks

Kick off Summer reading with making your own watercolor bookmark. Drop in the Jordan room 4 - 6 pm on May 22.

Shh! Quiet Reading Night

Monday, June 2, 5:30 pm – 7 pm. Bring your book for quiet reading time at the library. Jordan room will be open for snacks and socializing.

Book Love Book Club

A Book Club for Readers who love Books, Libraries and Bookstores Wednesday, July 16 at Noon. Books will be available to check out at the library. The Amazing Puzzle Race

Saturday, June 21. Welcome and instructions at 10:15 am. Puzzle Race at 10:30 am. Up to 10 teams of 4 will race to see who can be the first to complete a 500 piece puzzle. There are prizes for the winners and an amazing door prize! Register your team at the library by June 18th

Book Love Book Club

Wednesday, July 16 at Noon. Books will be available to check out at the library. BEACH READ by Emily Henry - A Romance writer who no longer believes in love and a literary writer stuck in a rut engage in a summer-long challenge that may just upend everything they believe about happily ever afters.

Select Tuesdays at Noon 

Bring your sack lunch and join us for a Documentary Film.  Each  film lasts under and hour, beginning at Noon in the Carnegie Level of the Library.

June  3 –   Explore the natural wonders of the National Parks

June 10 –   This film will show the fascinating character of  the artist Whistler,  known for the groundbreaking portrait of his mother

June 17 –  Visit the Isles of Scilly, the archipelago off the tip of Cornwall, England

June 24 –   Learn about the Presidents: Wilson through FDR

July 1 –  Discover how  a volcanic hotspot changed the face of the planet

July 8 –  Visit  influential gardens from the 19th century, from royal retreats to the first public parks

July 15 –   Learn about the Presidents: Truman through Ford

July 22 – Explore underwater landscapes and fascinating species of the Red Seas

Have any technology that you need help with? (computer questions, laptops, tablets, phones, etc.) Come in and sign up for one on one help.

1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, sign up for 30 minute sessions from 2:30 – 4:30 pm.   Sign up is on the 3rd floor.

If you think you’ll need more than 30 minutes, let us know.

Come and join us on the 3rd floor, the 3rd Saturday of every month for art and coloring.

Come and go from 9:30 am – 1 pm.

Snacks provided.  All ages welcome.
