The book for August is: Hurry, Little Tortoise, Time for School by Carrie Finison.
The Story Path is installed at the Memorial Hospital Walking Trail in partnership with Memorial Health Foundation. Picture book pages are displayed along the path, with the story changing periodically.
The Friends of the Abilene Library have also sponsored a Little Free Library at the walking trail for community members of all ages to exchange books.
